The United Fruit Company, a controversial exporter that is now Chiquita, maintained a railroad in the Caribbean and a steamship line for both fruit transport and passenger leisure back to ports in the United States and Europe in the early 1900's. Recently, we came across a stash of UFCO relics as part of the estate of a former executive, among them are these excellent brass inventory and luggage tags.
