Old Mission, Xavier Del Bac Near Tucson, Arizona

Was founded in 1692 by Father Kino.  The foundation was laid in 1701.  It was not made a permanent mission until 1732, when it became firmly established serving Tucson and Bac until 1751 when it was halted by the bloody uprising of the Pima, Papago and Ceres Indians, Tucson, Arizona
